This listing is for the Marlin Model 30AS rifle. Caliber is .30-30 Winchester. The Model 30AS is a classic lever action rifle with a 20" JM marked barrel and a full length magazine tube. The S/N is indicating that it was made in 1986 The overall condition is very good. The blued metal finish on the barrel and magazine tube is in very good condition showing some light scratches and scattered light freckling. The blued metal finish on the receiver and lever is in very good to excellent condition showing little wear with some scattered fine scratches. The plain hardwood forearm and butt stock are in very good condition showing some light scuffs and scratches with light finish wear, mostly on the butt stock as shown. Plastic butt plate. Original front and rear sights. Swivels studs added. The plug screws on top of the receiver have been removed. The bore is excellent, clean and shiny with strong rifling. The action works fine. Overall, a very nice, solid Marlin 30AS rifle that will make a great shooter.
